Not to take part in Casa Brasil — we speak Portuguese among Brazilians. For day-to-day life in Chiang Mai, basic English opens almost everything (apps, malls, private hospitals). Thai helps a lot at street markets, public schools and paperwork.

Yes — we have a dedicated families group with a Brazilian pedagogue in Education, monthly reading circles and an active exchange about international, bilingual and homeschooling options. Speaking Portuguese at home is the single biggest factor protecting fluency in your kids.
